This update is designed to help you capture more complete nutrition information and gain deeper insights into how the foods you eat impact your glucose. It introduces a new food database with nutrition details.
With this update, you can:
- Log meals by taking a photo of your food.
- Search for and select foods from our food database.
- View key nutrition details, including carbohydrates, protein, fat, fiber, and sugar.
- See your meal history alongside your Lingo Count data to better understand how different meals may impact your glucose over time.
- Reuse a recently logged meal if you eat the same meal regularly.
Important notes:
- Meals logged before the latest food logging update are not included in the recent meals list.
- To find a recently logged meal, select the same meal category (Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner, or Snack) that was used when the meal was originally logged.
- You can scroll back on your graph to view previously logged meal data.
- If you reinstall the app or move to a new device, your recently used meals will no longer be available.
- To provide nutrition details, foods need to be matched to items in our food database. If you enter a meal using free text only, nutrition information will not be available for that entry.
We understand this food logging update may not be ideal for every situation, and we're actively exploring ways to improve it.
