You can log homemade meals or recipes in a few different ways. When logging a meal, you can:
- Take a photo of your meal using the camera option. Lingo will identify foods in the image and suggest matching items for you to review before saving. If they aren’t exact or portions are incorrect, you can edit before logging.
- Search the food database and select the foods that best match the ingredients in your meal.
After logging, open the meal details page to review the foods, portions, and nutritional information associated with the meal and see how it relates to your Lingo Count and glucose response.
Note:
- To reuse and log a recently logged meal, make sure the selected meal category (Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner, or Snack) matches the category that was originally used when the meal was logged.
- If you reinstall the app or switch to a new device, your recently used meals will no longer be available.
Our team is actively reviewing this experience and considering enhancements to better support homemade meals and recipes in future updates.
