Most people with prediabetes don’t notice any symptoms. It’s often found during routine blood tests, which is why regular screening is important.1
Some people may experience fatigue, increased hunger, blurry vision, slow-healing wounds, or frequent skin infections.1 Other signs linked to insulin resistance include high blood pressure, high triglycerides, trouble losing weight, and skin changes like skin tags or dark patches.2
